Beautifully expressed. There’s many things that are wrong with the approach but I’m especially curious as to what platforms will constitute ‘social media’. Like, YouTube has all the issues that something like Facebook had, but I suspect they won’t try and push that one because of the diversity of uses/investment in YouTube infrastructure. And, if you make it platform specific, how do they deal with new platforms and communities? What do you do for WhatsApp groups? What do you do with text message groups?
